People and themselves
It is my opinion that people really only want to talk about themselves, really. People really only care about themselves. I do not think they actually truly deeply in their heart of hearts care about other people. If they are not blood related to you and have a reason to be vested in you in order to care about you—they do not really truly care about you. I know that sounds cynical but I think it is true from what I have found.
